  • 1 lb ground beef lean preferred
  • 1 packet taco seasoning 1 oz
  • 4 bags individual-sized corn chips such as Fritos
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  • Drain fat and add taco seasoning with recommended amount of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Open each bag of corn chips and layer with the taco meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.

Feel free to top with sour cream, guacamole, or your favorite taco toppings!
