Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add flour and mix until combined. Roll the dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
Melt the caramels in a microwave-safe bowl, then spoon a small amount onto each cookie.
Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the caramel layer. Let set before serving.
