Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in almond extract.
Gradually add almond flour, mixing until just combined.
Stir in slivered almonds.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
