  • 1.75 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
