Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.
Bring to a boil, without stirring, and cook until the mixture reaches 300°F (150°C) on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Add almonds and stir to coat evenly.
Pour almonds onto the prepared baking sheet and spread in a single layer.
Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
