  • 1 cup green beans trimmed
  • 1 cup kidney beans canned, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup cannellini beans canned, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup French fried onions for topping

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the green beans, kidney beans, and cannellini beans.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and milk. Bring to a simmer.
  • Pour sauce over beans. Stir in cheddar cheese.
  • Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with French fried onions.
  • Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
