  • 1 pound Pasta (elbow, rotini, or your favorite shape)
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 cup Taco seasoning
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup Chopped onion
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation Steps

  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and onion. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine.
  • Serve immediately, topped with shredded cheddar cheese.

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the ground beef mixture. You can also add other taco toppings, such as sour cream, guacamole, or salsa.
