Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Layers of pretzels, cream cheese, and fresh strawberries make this no-bake dessert a summer favorite.

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 1.5 cups pretzel crackers crushed
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup melted butter

Cream Cheese Layer

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • 4 cups sliced strawberries

Preparation Steps

  • Combine crushed pretzels, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the pretzel crust.
  • Top with sliced strawberries.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a combination of powdered sugar and granulated sugar in the cream cheese layer. You can also add a layer of whipped cream for extra indulgence.
