Strawberry Cake Recipe

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup butter unsalted, softened
  • 3 eggs large

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition.
  • Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture, and mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased and floured 9-inch round cake pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
