Strawberry Brownies

Fudgy brownies with juicy strawberries. A perfect blend of chocolate and fruity sweetness.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries sliced

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips and strawberries.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

For a richer brownie, use dark chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
