Preparation Steps
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned.
Place the roast in the slow cooker. Add beef broth and minced garlic.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the beef is tender and shreds easily.
Shred the beef using two forks, and serve.
Notes
Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving. Serve with warm tortillas, rice, or steamed vegetables.
