Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

These savory sausage stuffed mushrooms are a perfect appetizer or side dish. Easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser!

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 pound cremini mushrooms large
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Remove stems from mushrooms and clean.
  • Brown sausage in a skillet; drain excess grease.
  • Mix sausage with Parmesan cheese, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Fill mushroom caps with sausage mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and filling is heated through.

Notes

Serve immediately as an appetizer or side dish. Can be made ahead of time and reheated.
