Sausage Cheese Calzone

A delicious and easy-to-make sausage and cheese calzone recipe. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

  • 1 lb Italian Sausage Mild or spicy, your choice!
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 1 package Pizza Dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Brown the sausage in a skillet, then drain off any excess grease.
  • Roll out pizza dough into a large circle or oval.
  • Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder over the dough.
  • Spread the cooked sausage and mozzarella cheese over one half of the dough.
  • Fold the other half of the dough over the filling, pressing the edges to seal.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
