Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips and chopped caramel candies.
Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
