Runza Casserole Recipe
A comforting and flavorful casserole inspired by the classic Runza sandwich. This recipe features layers of seasoned ground beef, sauerkraut, and melted cheese, all baked to perfection.

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add diced onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in sauerkraut and cook for another 2 minutes.
Transfer the beef mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
Serve hot. This casserole can be easily doubled for a larger crowd.
