  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix well until combined.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, combine Rice Krispies cereal and chocolate chips.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
