Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, combine yeast, warm water, and sugar. Let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, and melted butter. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 10 minutes, then place in a greased bowl and cover.
Let dough rise in a warm area until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Punch down dough and divide into 12 rolls. Place on a baking sheet and cover.
Let rolls rise for another 20 minutes, then bake until golden brown, 15 minutes.
Notes
For an extra golden top, brush rolls with an egg wash before baking.
