Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until well combined.
Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until smooth.
Gradually add flour to the mixture, stirring continuously until the batter is smooth.
Gently fold in the sliced peaches.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
Notes
For the best taste, use ripe and juicy peaches. You can also garnish with peach slices or a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar before serving.
