  • 3 cups fresh peaches peeled and sliced

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until smooth.
  • Gradually add flour to the mixture, stirring continuously until the batter is smooth.
  • Gently fold in the sliced peaches.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.

Notes

For the best taste, use ripe and juicy peaches. You can also garnish with peach slices or a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar before serving.
