Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine peaches, 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and cinnamon. Stir in lemon juice.
Pour peach mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 0.5 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in milk until just combined.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the peach mixture.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
