  • 3 cups peeled and sliced peaches Fresh or frozen peaches work well.
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup packed brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, pecans, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until well combined.
  • Spread half of the crumble mixture into the prepared baking pan. Top with sliced peaches. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the peaches.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are tender.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars are best served slightly warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
