Instructions
Preparation Steps
Brown the ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in the pasta, beef broth, heavy cream, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the liquid is absorbed.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a combination of beef broth and red wine.
