Olive Garden Garlic Breadsticks

These soft and flavorful breadsticks are the perfect side for any Italian meal, featuring a savory blend of garlic and parsley.

  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 packet instant yeast or 2 1/4 teaspoons
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup warm water 110°F
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon parsley dried or fresh
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm water and melted butter. Knead the dough until smooth.
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the dough into 8-inch long breadsticks and place on a baking sheet.
  • Brush the breadsticks with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder and parsley.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

For extra flavor, dip the breadsticks in a side of marinara sauce.
