Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well mixed.
Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until the mixture is smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined.
Fold in the M&M's.
Scoop tablespoon-sized dough onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Allow cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra flavor, try using different color M&M's to fit seasonal themes!
