M&M Brownies Recipe

These M&M Brownies are a classic treat, fudgy in the center and chewy around the edges, packed with colorful M&M candies. Perfect for any occasion!

  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cup M&M's candies plus more for topping

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in 1.5 cups of M&M's candies.
  • Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining M&M's on top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  • Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
