Mint Chocolate Chip Truffles

These decadent Mint Chocolate Chip Truffles are easy to make and perfect for any occasion. Rich chocolate ganache is swirled with refreshing mint and studded with chocolate chips.

  • 12 oz Semi-sweet chocolate chips Use your favorite brand.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Mint extract
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips For coating and garnish

Preparation Steps

  • Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Heat heavy cream in a small saucepan until just simmering. Remove from heat.
  • Slowly pour the hot cream into the melted chocolate, whisking constantly until smooth and glossy.
  • Stir in mint extract.
  • Stir in half of the chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls and coat with remaining chocolate chips.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
