Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, and garlic powder. Gently mix until just combined.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce.
Add meatballs to the sauce, ensuring they are mostly submerged.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
