  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 lb Ground pork
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg Egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 28 oz Canned crushed tomatoes
  • 15 oz Can of tomato sauce
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, and garlic powder. Gently mix until just combined.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce.
  • Add meatballs to the sauce, ensuring they are mostly submerged.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through and sauce is bubbly.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
