Maple Glazed Apple Blondies

These chewy blondies are swirled with a sweet and tangy maple glaze and chunks of juicy apple. Perfect for a fall treat!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped apple
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Stir in the chopped apple and maple syrup.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

Store leftover blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
