Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Stir in the chopped apple and maple syrup.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before cutting and serving.
Notes
Store leftover blondies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
