Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in lemon zest. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely in the pan before dusting with powdered sugar and cutting into bars.
