Lemon Caper Sauce Recipe

A bright and flavorful lemon caper sauce that is perfect for fish, chicken, or vegetables. Quick and easy to make!

  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon Capers drained
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper freshly ground, or to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Do not let it burn.

  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

Notes

This sauce is incredibly versatile. You can add a splash of heavy cream for a richer sauce, or a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
