Instructions
Preparation Steps
Brown ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, oregano, and basil. Bring to a simmer.
Add noodles; cook according to package directions, or until tender.
Stir in ricotta and mozzarella cheese. Serve hot.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or mushrooms.
