Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Beat in the eggs one at a time.
Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool before serving with your favorite ice cream.
Notes
For best results, chill cookie dough for at least one hour before baking.
