  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in rolled oats.
  • Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely on baking sheets.

Notes

For the cream filling, you can use a simple cream cheese frosting or your favorite pudding recipe.
