Hamburger Steaks with Onion Gravy

Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, gently combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until browned.
Remove patties from skillet and set aside. Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened.
Return patties to the skillet and spoon gravy over them. Serve hot.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite sides.
