Guinness Brownies Recipe

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup Guinness stout
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  • Add Guinness, oil, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
  • Gradually add flour, mixing until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Let cool completely before cutting and serving.

Notes

These brownies are best served slightly warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
