This creamy Gnocchi Alfredo is an easy-to-make, comforting dish perfect for dinner.

  • 1.5 lbs gnocchi store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups heavy cream or substitute with half-and-half
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Boil the gnocchi according to package instructions, and drain well.
  • In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then add Parmesan cheese and stir until well combined.
  • Stir in cooked gnocchi, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cooked chicken or sautéed mushrooms.
