  • 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup Molasses
  • 1 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 0.5 tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cup Butter, softened

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the molasses, ginger, and cloves.
  • Stir in the baking soda and flour.
  • Roll into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
