  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • Red pepper flakes optional, for heat

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash, trim, and halve the Brussels sprouts.
  • In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil and minced garlic.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Spread Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and slightly browned.
  • Remove from oven, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and return to oven for 2-3 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly and serve immediately.
