Instructions
Preparation Steps
Sear the beef cubes in a large pot or Dutch oven until browned on all sides.
Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in beef broth and red wine. Add thyme.
Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour, or until beef is tender.
