  • 2 lbs Beef Stew Meat Cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 large Yellow Onions thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Dry Red Wine
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tbsp All-purpose Flour

Preparation Steps

  • Sear the beef cubes in a large pot or Dutch oven until browned on all sides.
  • Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Gradually whisk in beef broth and red wine. Add thyme.
  • Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 1 hour, or until beef is tender.
