Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
In a separate large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined.
Fold in dark chocolate chips, if using.
Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool in pan on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Notes
Let the brownies cool completely for easier cutting.
