Instructions
Preparation Steps
Cook macaroni according to package directions.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and stir in cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth.
Stir in cooked macaroni and crab meat. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a combination of cheeses. You can also add other vegetables, such as chopped broccoli or peas.
