Cookie Dough Football Treats So Easy

These adorable and delicious Cookie Dough Footballs are the perfect no-bake treat for game day! Easy to make with edible cookie dough, dipped in chocolate, and decorated with white chocolate laces, they're always a crowd-pleaser.

  • 0.75 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 0.75 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cup All-Purpose Flour, heat-treated See notes
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 1.5 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
  • 16 oz Chocolate Melting Chocolate
  • 3 oz White Melting Chocolate

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. About 2-3 minutes
  • Add in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Add in the flour and salt. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  • Use a 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop to scoop out the dough and shape them into footballs. Place on a plate or cookie sheet and chill for 1-2 hours.
  • Melt the chocolate according to package directions.
  • Dip each chilled football into the melted chocolate, covering completely. Tap off excess chocolate.
  • Place dipped footballs on parchment paper to dry.
  • Once dry, melt the white chocolate and drizzle laces onto the footballs.
  • Let the white chocolate dry completely and serve. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

These are best enjoyed at room temperature. For heat-treating the flour, spread it on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, stirring halfway, until it reaches 160°F (71°C).
