  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
