  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup coconut flakes unsweetened
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 units bananas ripe, mashed
  • 0.5 cup butter melted
  • 2 units eggs beaten

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, coconut flakes, and baking powder.
  • Stir in the mashed bananas, melted butter, and beaten eggs until well combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

You can add nuts such as walnuts or pecans for an extra crunch.
