Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 15x10 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in the milk.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined.
Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool completely before rolling up with frosting.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients. You can also add nuts or raisins to the filling for extra flavor.
