Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add flour and vanilla, mixing until just combined.
  • Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Place on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Let cool on baking sheet before serving.
