Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
In another bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
Add eggs to the butter mixture one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
These bars can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
