Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, mix the cookie crumbs with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
Pour cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust in the springform pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until filling is set. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For best results, keep the cheesecake refrigerated overnight before serving.
