Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter; mix well. Stir in the egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
