Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

This delicious chocolate chip banana bread is perfect for breakfast or a snack. It's moist, flavorful, and easy to make!

  • 3 ripe bananas Very ripe bananas, mashed
  • 0.33 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.33 cup Brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup Melted unsalted butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter; mix well. Stir in the egg and vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
