  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour sifted

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar and cocoa powder until smooth.
  • Add in salt, vanilla, and eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Stir in the flour until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

For an extra fudgy texture, slightly under-bake the brownies.
