Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

A classic comfort food, this Chicken Pot Pie recipe features tender chicken and vegetables in a creamy, flaky crust.

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Carrots, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, chopped
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 package Pie crust

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook chicken breasts until cooked through. Dice chicken.
  • Sauté carrots and celery in butter until tender.
  • Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk until thickened.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, and diced chicken.
  • Pour filling into a pie dish. Top with pie crust.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
